Short Tour Options from Beijing to Xian
If you are in Beijing and want to make a short visit to Xian
to see the famous Terracotta Warriors then you have a number of Xian tour
options to choose from. Your choice of Xian tour depends on how much time you
have. The price of these tours includes all transport, English speaking guides,
entrance fees and some of the meals.
For a quick trip from Beijing to Xian
Beijing to Xian 1 Day Tour (BXA-01) by Air
Take a short break from Beijing and fly from the capital to Xian and back in one day; this is the absolutely quickest option for seeing the Terracotta Warriors if you are staying in Beijing. You will be picked up at your Beijing hotel, taken to the Beijing Airport and seen through security on your way to Xian on a 2 hour flight. You'll be met by the tour guide in the Xian airport arrivals hall and taken straight away to the Terracotta Warriors. The tour includes a delicious lunch (included in the price) and then a look at Xian's ancient city walls and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. At the end of the one day Xian tour you will be taken back to the Xian airport and seen safely off at the security point. On arrival in Beijing you will be met in the arrivals hall and taken back to your Beijing hotel. In all this tour from Beijing to Xian will take you about 14 hours.
Beijing to Xian 1 Day Tour (BXA-03) by Train
This is a slightly cheaper option which takes slightly
longer; but will also get you to Xian and back, cover the same sites and
includes the same professional service as the Beijing to Xian Tour by air. You are taken from your
Beijing hotel to the Beijing train station at around 19:45 and settled into an
overnight sleeper train. You can choose whether you prefer a soft sleeper for 4
people, soft sleeper for 2 people or a luxury train cabin. You will arrive in
Xian on the next morning at around 07:10 and be met by your Xian tour guide who
will take you for breakfast at a local 4 star hotel (included in price). Once
you have eaten the tour proceeds to the Terracotta Warriors, Xian city walls
and Big Wild Duck Pagoda. In the evening you are taken back to the Xian train
station and put onto the return night train. On arrival in Beijing the
following morning you are met by a guide and taken back to your Beijing hotel.
In all this tour takes about 36 hours; for example from 8pm in the evening on
Monday until you return to your Beijing hotel at 8am in the morning on Wednesday.
