Honestly, Zagreb is a pretty nice city to see their Museum of Contemporary Art, the Dolac Market, to barhop along Tkalčićeva and check out the various bistros and restaurants.
Mirogoj is one of the attractions, it's Zagreb's Highgate and architectural gem. Other things you may want to consider doing is the funicular, sinking a Velebitsko and strolling along the Maksimir.
Velebitsko
There are also dense woods, tree-lined alleys, long meadows as well as man-made lakes. Finally grab those really cheap yet yummy meat-heavy gableci, bean-stew called 'grah', Zagorje pasta or krautflekerli. If you like wine, must try the Croatian wine.
